The release comes with a spray painted DVDr enclosed in a full color sleeve (with photo of Tony and I out­side the Oak St. Bldg. by Erik Gage) with spine with post­card. Men­tion­able as well is that the ROM part of the DVD (a folder you can access by click­ing on the disc icon on your com­puter desk­top) includes a high qual­ity WAV file (also avail­able here as part of the Dig­i­tal Magic Series from Magic Goat Music) of the entire set — feel free to burn it to a disc for your­self or a friend and/or put it on your iTunes or pod.

DASH! feat. WWJDub? LIVE @ HUSH

Our friends at Magic Goat Music in Salt Lake City have released the DASH!/WWJDub? show as part of their “Dig­i­tal Magic Series”. The show hap­pened back on Novem­ber 21 of 2008 in Port­land, Ore and was recorded and engi­neered by Neil Blake (whom I’d like to give appre­ci­a­tion to for beau­ti­fully cap­tur­ing this event). It’s one track, 40 min­utes long, mixed by Tony Ortega, and is avail­able for free down­load here.

Tony and I are work­ing a DVD-r(elease) of the show and have spent a great deal time fig­ur­ing out the details. Should be done and avail­able in the shop within the next week.

Uh oh! We are doing this zine thing again! And we want you to be part of the great under­tak­ing. This time around the theme is TV. Yes! Good ol’ tele­vi­sion. And you know why this is great? Because Tony and I came up with it? Well, yes, but not only that. TV is a com­mon expe­ri­ence for most all of us and it is some­thing we can relate to. So here is the deal. Tony made a tight call and has given his set for the upcom­ing show at Rererato to THE RIGHTEOUS AND HARMONIOUS FISTS! I had a tough time find­ing the Fists a show this week­end (Caleb’s on his way to Port­land cur­rently) because of the venue takeover by this year’s TBA festy and the MFNW that are BOTH hap­pen­ing this week­end. Rid­ing up on our shit. But fuck ‘em, we’re on! Dash, Stag Hare, and Gui­tars are also play­ing on Mon­day with the Fists. Come come come come see it.

i have often thought of this as a per­fect movie (maybe because its only like 43 min­utes long? and tony con­rad made the sound­track? and, accord­ing to leg­end, the only remain­ing neg­a­tive of it was buried after it was banned for “total lack of social value”, so all copies of it look like they were filmed in the 1890’s? and it was filmed on a rooftop, and now we watch it on a rooftop?). come see us and then it and then we’ll talk about it all in the night air. it’s good.
