Press

  • REAL PRESS! from KSPC(<3):
Covina Cali’s transcendental roots band, Orem (the sink) has re-freed Planets, a geo-biologically aware, lo-fidelity 2007 LP. Forget contemporary lo-fi indie hipsteria. Orem (the sink) goes beyond the yonder with timeless yet timely lyrics– “One thing about your planet is that no one understands it”. Uni-versal lyrics of the like wave and ebb in some real, sweet, imperfect male vocals over and under some eerie minimalist hypnotica that’s pasted together by folk-rooted riffs (and a plump reggae bass-line in ‘So The Ground’). Hear ye, eary denizens! Planets shall expand yer universe.

  • “…It hit my joint to the max! I’m a firm believer in the U-N-I-V-E-R-S-E.” – Merde
  • “interesting live show…we love[d] it…a sexual baby pleasure.” – Genres of the Sea
